Bochette visited Curacao different times, and was one of the advisors of NAOC, during the Olympic Games in Beijing (2008)

According to the U.S. Olympic Committee, once this museum is fully up and running, it’s estimated to have a annual impact of $25 million to the local economy. Lee County (Florida) has invested nearly a million tourist tax dollars in the project.
