Olympic funding 2010 safeguarded

During the National Sports congress “Shaping our future together” (29-30 May 2009) the Minister of Sports, Omayra Leeflang and the Minister of Finances, Ersilia de Lannooy, symbolically handed over to NAOC and members of all five insular sportfederations  a cheque of ANG 500,000.00 (Antillean guilders).
With this amount, the Olympic funded in the future is safeguarded, taking into account the fact that the country Netherlands Antilles (and it’s subsidies) will cease to exist in the near future.
